Transit

Due to the opening of “Price Less Foods” in Bristol, Va. at 2012 Lee Highway Thursday, April 23, and traffic congestion in this area, the Bristol Virginia Transit System has revised the Walmart/Exit route.

Currently we serve this location on the outbound portion of the route; as of today, we will serve this location as well as the Post Office on the inbound portion of the route.

Additionally, Old Abingdon Highway from Lee Highway to Valley Drive will not be served by this route except on an on-call basis.
This bus will now return to downtown using Lee Highway to Valley Drive to Texas Avenue to resume the regular route.

This revision to the route is being implemented in order to maintain our schedule back to the Downtown Transfer Center located in the 800 block of Shelby Street.

Please Note: Effective July 1, 2014, transit rates increased.
