Our department is proud to work through partnerships in offering Sugar Hollow Park as an excellent place to run day camps for the youth of our area as well as the special needs person. Some of these partnerships include  River's Way, Holston River Soil & Water Conservation District plus our city elementary schools. Many of these day camps have included experiencing the outdoors through nature, hiking, and our wetlands area. Children have also been introduced to horticulture and identifying different types of wildlife. One elementary group has even assisted in mapping out the trails that lies within the confines of our beautful city park. While we welcome these partnerships, our department also has their own camps such as the annual Cheerleading Camp held prior to school opening in late summer.
