The Bristol Virginia Sheriffs Office is currently accepting applications to test for employment from qualified candidates for various positions.
We employ sworn deputy sheriffs and other non-sworn professionals in corrections, court services, classification, records, and administrative support staff.

Applicants must be a United States Citizen, at least 21 years-of-age, possess a high school diploma or GED, in good physical condition, possess a valid driver license with a good driving record, a clean criminal history record, and have basic computer/data entry skills.
Preferred candidates may also possess post-secondary education and/or a DCJS Corrections or Law Enforcement training certificate issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
