Last Day to Register to Vote

April 13, 2020, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Today is the final day to register to vote if you plan to vote in the May 5, 2020 General Election. You may register in person at your local elections office or online at elections.virginia.gov. Applications may be obtained at the library, DMV and other state agencies. You may fax, email or mail your application as long as it is postmarked by today.

Absentee Voting Begins for June 9, 2020 Republican Primary

Absentee voting begins for the June Republican Primary Election. The office will be open during normal business hours from 8 AM - 5 PM for voting with the exception of Memorial Day Holiday on May 25.

Final Day to Request an Absentee Ballot by Mail

April 28, 2020, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Today is the deadline to submit an absentee application to request a ballot be mailed to you for the May 5, 2020 General Election. You must meet one of the acceptable reasons to vote an absentee ballot. See a list of eligible reasons to request a ballot and apply online at elections.virginia.gov. You may also mail, fax or email a completed application to your local elections office. Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. today.
